It has new hardware that comprises of 10.28 TFLOPS, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz with variable frequency, A custom RDNA 2 architecture, and a PS4 by comparison launched with 1.84 TFLOPS, 18 CUs at 800MHz. The GPU featured is more flexible and involves: 1.5x performance-per-watt,1.25 performance per clock upgrade, new compute unit design that brings higher efficiency, multi-level cache hierarchy, and a streamlined graphics that is set for optimized performance.
CPU PS5 features a CPU specs of eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.5GHz. the hear of this gadget is its processing power which enables it to create spectacular memories and experiences. This the higher end of the CPU &availability as the Sony &custom version is placed at 3.5GHz. The gadget is based on bringing out a completely different paradigm from what gamers have been used to.
It can adjust its frequencies based on workloads laid out while an internal monitor performs a new function of analyzing tasks for the CPU and GPU and adjusts frequencies to match as contrary to the usual task of adjusting power levels. AMD & smart shift technology is also put into use here through granting the transfer of unused power to be transferred from the CPU to GPU thus increasing graphics
performance.
CONTROLLER
Users will have to use Dual Sense controllers as their gamepad when it comes to playing PS5. In terms of design, the two DualSense PS5 controllers look quite different from the Dual Shock 4 ones that were launched before it with the PS4.
