Infinix Hot 8 comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ display ,90.3% screen to body ratio and a 20.9 aspect ratio. It is run by XOS 5 that is based on Android 9.The device is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 SoC and packs an AI-based triple camera. The camera module includes a 13MP main sensor,2 MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. It has a 500mAh powerful battery and supports fast charging. It has a 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and the option of extending the memory with a microSD card slot up to 256GB. It comes in four colors: Midnight Black., Quetzal Cyan, Shark Grey, and Cosmic Purple.

DESIGN

While having the dimensions of 165 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm (6.50 x 3.00 x 0.34 in) and a weight of 179 grams, the device can easily be mistaken for Infinix Hot 8 lite. It has a waterdrop notch at the front with the earpiece being located just above the notch. Towards the left, one can spot a soft LED flash strip that is visible when the screen is turned on or during charging.

The backside highlights the identity of the device. The rear panel has a peacock blue shade at the upper part while there is a glossy surface with a glittery finish that covers the fingerprint sensors. The device has a polycarbonate body with a gradient finish, a glass front and back and comes with a transparent protective case. The power and volume buttons are easily positioned within reach while providing a clicky response. One can find the 3-in-1 (Nano-SIM + micro SD) tray on the left while the 35mm headphone jack, speaker, and Micro-USB port are found at the bottom. The curved edges ensure users have a comfortable grip while holding the lightweight device.

DISPLAY

Users will be able to get an extended field of view to produce enhanced entertainment. It comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen(also found in Hot 8 lite) that has a 20:9 screen to body ratio. The IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has a screen resolution of 720 1600 pixels while having a decent display brightness of 450 nits that produces amazing colors. The wider screen that is provided by the device ensures that users enjoy watching content while heaving s theater experience. Gaming will also be facilitated at a whole new level on the immersive screen which supports the visibility of various graphics within the phone.

CAMERA

You will be able to capture more beautiful images with the Infinix Hot 8 that features a rear camera setup which includes: 13MP central camera with an f/1.8 lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a dedicated low light sensor. The front camera features an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The features that come with the phone are similar to that of Oppo A12. The newly infused AI technology modifies the beauty of images.

The 13MP triple rear cameras come with a quad flash and have an f1.8 aperture. It enables the capturing of photos which provide more details for the distance and depth. Dynamic range shots are decent as the phone does not over-saturate objects’ colors and produces natural-looking colors. The device is also compatible with an external memory of up to 128 GB( check out Iconix 128GB) and ensures users do not need to be involved in the tiresome process of constantly deleting apps, videos, and images to create more space to use.
