Infinix Zero 8i was launched in October 2020 and is the immediate successor to Infinix Zero 8. It comes with a 6.6-inch multitouch screen and is supported by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor. The storage space stands at 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The device runs on Android 10 and has been powered by a 4500mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging.
The camera module on the rear hosts a 48MP primary camera, a second 2MP camera, and a third 2MP camera. The rear camera has autofocus while the front part has a 16MP+ a second 8MP camera.The phone’s software is XOS7 that is based on Android 10. It was launched in the shades of Black diamond, Green diamond, and Silver Diamond. The dimensions stand at165x76.8×8.7mm while its active weight is 185grams.
Some of the connectivity options that are found with Zero 8i are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, and GPS while the active sensors include: accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. For authentication, one gets the fingerprint sensor as well as facial detection.
DESIGN
Design-wise, Infinix Zero 8i spots a similar make to that which was seen on Zero 8. However, Zero 8i is lightweight as it weighs185 grams as opposed to the latter which weighed 205 grams. The device is premium by looks while coming with a taste for high-end gadgets. Zero 8i has a diamond aesthetic for the camera bump and is coupled up with a gradient back that is meant to impress. The back can be protected with the silicone case as it easily attracts fingerprint smudges.
There is a curved back that flows to the midframe and one can identify the volume rocker, power button, and fingerprint sensor on the right side. The Dual SIM card and micro-SD have been positioned at the left. The bottom part hosts the speaker grille, microphone, Type C charging port, and microphone. The phone hosts the wide camera cutout which has a 16MP+8MP camera.
DISPLAY
Users will enjoy watching Full HD content with their 6.6 inch IPS LCD screen that features a punch-hole display. The phone provides a 90.5% screen to body ratio with thin bezels that are aligned around it. It comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels which is similar to that of Infinix Zero 8.
The screen refreshment rate is vibrant and fluid and has smoother animations that make the phone to be more attractive while playing games or streaming content.

Zero 8i borrows a leaf from the Zero 8 in terms of having a powerful camera set up.
The camera features include Rear(48MP+2MP+2MP) while the front part has 16MP+8MP.
The central 48MP camera allows users to have clarity in the shots taken as it
supports highly detailed photos thanks to its large lens that packs more pixels. It
also allows one to zoom in between pictures and still take bright and clear night photos. There is a 2MP macro lens that is ideal for close-ups and good for landscape and group photos while the 2MP depth sensor takes beautiful portraits and blurs the background while bringing the subject to focus.
The 16MP Front Camera enables you to take redefined selfies even at night, while the 8MP ultra-wide is suitable for group photos and steady videos even when you are on the move. There is a Quad-LED flash while the front video recording comes at 1080p@30fps FHD. Features that come with the camera include AI 3D Body shaping, AR Animoji, Custom Bokeh, Auto Scene Detection, and AI 3D Beauty.
MEMORY AND BATTERY
The 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM that comes with Zero 8i is similar to Huawei Y7a and ensures that you get sufficient space to store your content. The storage space can be further expanded with a Micro SD card of up to 256GB.
Packed with the device is a 4500mAh battery that is similar to that found in Galaxy S20Fe and allows 31 hours of talk time. It also supports fast charging with a 33W fast charge capability that can fill the phone up in 50 minutes.
PROCESSOR
Infinix Zero 8i has a similar processor and software as what was seen on Zero 8. It is based on the XOS7 version which runs on Android 10 and is further powered by a Media Tek MT6785 Helio G90 chipset. The phone has a 2.05GHz Octa-Core Processor whose core details include 2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. The G76 GPU can handle graphics and even allows support for medium to high graphic games such as Call of Duty and PUBG.
Additions to the processing system include Game Turbo v1.0 which allows users who love games to experience a fast and extraordinary gaming venture without any lags coming their way. Multitasking and switching from one tab to the other are also supported.

The biometrics that has been featured with Note 8i also doubles up as the security. Users can protect all of their content by either using the fingerprint that is positioned at the rear or opt for the Facial recognition feature that works well with the front camera. Both biometrics detect registered features in an instant and also have a PIN back up in case of anything.
