SONY 85X8000H OVERVIEW
Sony 85x800H is an entry level TV that replaces SonyX800G. It comes with a Triluminos display, super resolution and less blur that is witnessed even in fast scenes. The display also has Clear phase for smooth balanced frequencies and the newly introduced Calman Ready feature that addresses colour variations.
This model has 16GB onboard storage and runs on Android. You will hear high-quality sound through the X-balanced speaker and Dolby Atmos feature. Google Assistant and Alexa allow hands-free voice control.
Additional Smart features include Chrome cast and connectivity to Apple Airplay and Apple Home Kit. Sony 85x800H also works with Apple Airplay/Apple Home Kit, Google home.
DESIGN
Sony X800H has a similar design to the Sony X800G apart from the cable management which switches things up. This model has two hooks for attaching the cables which is different from previous Sony TV’s that have cables running through the feet. It also measures 1899x1089x71mm and is slightly thinner than its predecessor.
Besides the plastic made feet that offer firm support, this TV also has narrow bezels that appear refined. It keeps users focused on the picture that will be portrayed on the screen in front of them.
DISPLAY
Triluminos display, HDR remaster, Super-resolution, less blur, clear phase and Dolby vision are the summaries of the Sony 85x800H. It also has improved HDR peak brightness as compared to that of Sony X800G thanks to an Object-Based HDR remaster. It analyses the colour in individual objects on the screen and reproduces greater depth, texture and more realistic pictures.
There are those times that you watch sports and fast action scenes and it happens so fast that they go by in a blur. This will not be the case anymore as this model has less blur even in fast scenes. The motion flow technology enables movement to be smooth and clear by creating extra images between images and black segments.
TRILUMINOS DISPLAY +4K HDR
You will further witness glorious 4K pictures as the TV is rich with real-world detail and texture through 4K HDR Processor. A unique database is used by 4K X-Reality PRO to upscale full HD pictures to be close to 4K resolution. You will definitely get a super-resolution in whatever you are watching.
The Triluminos display widens the colour spectrum and reproduces more colours than a conventional TV. It is able to analyze and process data in every image thus making colours to be more natural and precise
CALMAN READY
Sony 85 x800H uses Calman auto-calibration software so as to address colour variations from the product process. The feature allows an unprecedented level of calibration and has the ability to fine tune adjustments that are otherwise impossible through conventional picture settings.
Through being Calman ready, your TV will be able to deliver high fidelity color reproduction that can adapt to the subtlest color changes that can occur.
This feature is also compatible with the Sony X9000H.
