Infinix Hot 8 Lite

Infinix Hot 8 Lite was released in October 2019 and comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ waterdrop display,90.3% screen to body ratio, and a 20.9 aspect ratio. It is run by XOS 5 Cheetah that is based on Android 8. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio MT6580 and packs an AI-based dual camera. The camera module includes a dual 8MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera. It has a 500mAh powerful battery that supports fast charging, a 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and the option of extending the memory with a microSD card slot up to 32GB. The phone comes in four colors: Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan, Shark Grey, and Cosmic Purple. It also has a fingerprint sensor and face detection feature.

DESIGN

The device has a polycarbonate body with a gradient finish, a glass front and back and comes with a transparent protective case. It has the dimensions of 165 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm and a weight of 175 grams. The phone contains a waterdrop notch at the front with the earpiece being located just above. Towards the left, one can spot a dual camera and a soft LED flash strip that is visible when the screen is turned on or during charging.

There is a glossy surface with a glittery finish at the back along with a fingerprint sensor that is mounted at the upper part. The power and volume buttons are easily positioned on the right side while the 3-in-1 (Nano-SIM + micro SD) tray is set at the left. The 35mm headphone jack, speaker, and Micro-USB port are found at the bottom.

DISPLAY

With the Infinix Hot 8 Lite, users will be able to get an extended field of view to produce enhanced entertainment. The device comes with a 6.6-inch waterdrop HD+ screen that has a 20:9 screen to body ratio. The IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has a screen resolution of 7201600 pixels while having a decent display brightness of 450 nits that produce up to 16 million colors. Users will be able to capture gorgeous snaps with the Infinix Hot 8 Lite that features a rear camera setup which includes: 8MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens, with a depth sensor, and a dedicated low light sensor. The front camera features an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The newly infused AI technology modifies the beauty of images that are taken by the device.

The 8MP double rear cameras come with a flash and have an f1.8 aperture. It enables the capturing of photos which provides more details for the distance and depth. Dynamic range shots are decent as the phone does not over-saturate objects’ colors and produces natural-looking colors. Other features that are found in the camera include HDR, flash scene modes, Bokeh, Beauty, AI Cam, and AR.

MEMORY

compared to the previous models in the series, the Infinix Hot 8 comes with extended and upgraded storage so as to enable you to keep more files, pictures, and songs without seeking cloud storage. The 32GB ROM and 2GB RAM that is provided by the device is also compatible with an external memory of up to 32 GB and ensure users do not need to be involved in the tiresome process of constantly deleting apps, videos, and images so as to create more space to use.
